Let me rephrase it as a feature request: enable the tuner to (optionally) mirror the layout completely, including the thumb keys. It can't be that hard to do, you just swap the 1 with the 4 and the 2 with the 3, and vice versa, in the thumb column.
Otherwise you're totally breaking the symmetry concept of the device for left/right hand. In my learning phase now, I notice that it doesn't matter which hand I train with, both hands speed up due to the symmetric/mirrored layout. Went up from 10 to 25wpm in just a few days.
