Daily Carry Ideas

Does anyone else carry their Twiddler with them on the regular? If so, what's your preferred method: Holster? Case? Jammed in a pocket? Tossed in a bag/pack? Looped around your belt? I'm curious to see what others do or what ideas others might have.

Given my very mobile use case (short explanation: typing on my phone while on the go), right now my plan is to just drop it into a leg pocket of my pants, but I do worry about it getting banged around (door frames, car doors, table legs, etc.)

Hanging it from a lanyard works well. You can also get a couple of carabiners and hang it horizontally between two belt loops. These solutions are nice because it's ready to be typed on where it is.

I hate lanyards (personal preference - I have one that's required for work) and I'd already talked myself away from the carabiner idea, but I guess having someone else suggest it convinced me to at least try it before writing it off.

I found this one at Walmart and decided to give it a go. So far, I like the way it hangs on a single carabiner and that I can clip it just in front of my pocket so it's less likely to get smashed against my hip or sat on. Because of the internal clip area, I also don't have to worry about accidentally unclipping it from the twiddler when I only mean to remove it from my belt loop. If I change my mind and want more mobility, I also picked up a double carabiner with a swivel in the middle, just in case.

I personally use a retractable lanyard and some carabiners attached to the unit.

I had previously used a solution with (so very many) magnets, but i found this much easier to set up and transfer.

I keep catching the Twiddler on tables, steering wheel, etc. because of where I have it on my belt loop (and my own lack of refined proprioception). I might try your idea of a retractable lanyard to see if it alleviates that issue. 👍️
