Strange issue with Ctrl+C when using Visual Studio Code

I have a strange issue related to using Ctrl+C using Visual Studio Code. Instead of copying, a new new CMD window is opened up. However, the same Ctrl+C command works fine with other apps, such as Notepad. Also, Ctrl+C works fine with VS code using a standard keyboard.

Has anyone encountered this?

Okay, I figured this out.
In the tuner, I had assigned my desired chord to <LCtrl>C<LCtrl>. Since the "C" in the expression is capitalized, the output was being interpreted as Control-Shift-C instead of just Control-C. That happens to be the shortcut to open a command window in Visual Studio.

Please confirm in Tuner that the chord you are using does not contain a capital C.

Ctrl-c should copy (lower case "c")
Shift-Ctrl-c should open up a new CMD window. (Upper Case "C")

If "C" is entered into Tuner, it will store HID (0x06) "c" and the L-Shift modifier bit. Tuner automatically removes the <SHIFT> explicit notation and replaces with capital letters for presentation purposes.
